Vicktory for Michael Vick Pitbull Ray

It is another Vicktory story among the Michael Vick Pitbulls, who were rescued by the Best Friend’s Society (BFS). Congrats to Ray for passing his Good Canine Citizen exam and to BFS for their dedication and hard work for rehabilitating the Vick Pitbulls. Yet another success story, and proof that Pitbulls trained to dog fight can be changed and should not be killed.

Paul, Melissa, Madison, Cherry (lying down)
Cherry is another Vick Pitbull with a success story, who was rehabilitated and the first Vick Pitbull to be adopted. Now, Cherry has a forever home among a loving couple, who have another Pitbull, who Cherry warmed up to first before his human adoptees. Cherry was a scared Pitbull when he came to Best Friend’s Society, but despite his dog-fighting past, all he wanted was to play and romp with other dogs with the hope of finding a best furry pal. Cherry has found his best bud in Madison, the Pitbull!
Vick Pitbulls Ray and Cherry and all the other Pitbulls out there that have been rehabilitated should be proof enough that breed bans and euthanasia of dogs trained to fight need to be abolished. Punishment against negligent, abusive, and irresponsible dog owners should be more strict, and only the dog owner should be blamed for their dog’s dangerous behavior.
