If you can’t take your dog with you during the holidays, dog daycares can watch over your pup while you are away. My pups have stayed at different dog daycares in Colorado, Texas and Iowa. I like the daycares that have webcams so I can watch them play. Plus, I like to make sure they are having a fun time, because I feel guilty not having them with us on our trips.

In Colorado, my dogs have stayed at PetSmart hotels and Camp Bow Wow. Both places offer webcams and tasty treats (you can purchase them when dropping off your pups). My dogs were able to stay in a suite together when sleeping, so they had each other to keep them company in a strange place.
