100_1104_00newMy dog Oscar is a fearful guy. He’s afraid of old people, young people, strollers, skateboards, sunglasses, hats, gloves, and so on. We have worked with each of these fears by giving praise and treats, but one fear remains an obstacle: the road-crossing guard. I live near three schools, so this is a big issue.

Enter Stella & Chewy’s. These treats are a great diversion for a dog who is not easily distracted. I’m proud to say that today we actually crossed the street with the crossing guard present!

Stella & Chewy’s treats come in a variety of flavors, but we crossed the road with the Carnivore Crunch Chicken Treats. They are a freeze-dried, all natural raw food. The 4-ounce packages are sold at specialty stores.

The company also makes raw-food dinners. The treats pack a smelly punch when you open the pouch, so be prepared for your dog to come running!
