Puppy Left to Die in Canyon
Animal cruelty knows no bounds. This adorable dog, first named Puppy, then Shadow, was left to starve or to succumb to distemper in a canyon located on the Arizona-Utah border.
Luckily, Zak Anderegg was on vacation and was climbing the very canyon where Shadow had been left. If Anderegg had not found the pup, the poor dog would have died. By the time he was found, Puppy had only 24-48 hours left to live.
The pup was rushed to the Page Animal Hospital, where it was discovered that, in addition to being malnourished, he also had distemper.
Anderegg and his wife, Michelle, have become attached to the puppy, but they are unable to keep him because they already have many animals in their home. Shadow is in need of a forever and loving home.
Shadow has a Facebook page. Friend him and find out how you can give him the family he deserves.
