This is Baxter, and he lived to be 19-years and six-months old. He was the oldest living therapy dog, and he kept visiting dying patients even when he couldn’t walk himself. His owner rolled him around in a wagon, and then picked him up and put him in bed with the patients. Baxter brought these people joy near the end of their lives. Dogs have such a powerful affect and can put a smile on our faces even during the saddest moments in our lives.
